The Role

You’ll be the first point of contact for CIM members and customers, so being a friendly, positive person is important for this role. There are lots of product and service areas you’ll need to know about, which means it can be busy, varied and demanding; you’ll need to enjoy a challenge and learning new things. What’s great is no day or customer is ever the same, so we can promise a huge variety of queries for which you’ll be responsible.

We provide excellent training and support to help you maximise your skills and provide the outstanding service that we all want to give. We love seeing our teams grow and develop within themselves and our organisation, and this role is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of that.

The Person

You need to be an effective communicator, able to write a great email and be a friendly voice at the end of the phone too. Showing initiative and taking control of your own learning, making relevant information available to yourself in an organised and accessible way, will be important. We don’t expect you to know all the answers all the time, so the ability to ask for help and take on board feedback is really valued here.

The desire to problem-solve is paramount; leaving no stone unturned and challenging the status quo in order to improve the journey for customers is what we are all about. You need to be able to represent CIM in a professional manner, championing the customer and representing them to the organisation.

We expect you to always do your best for our customers, and you’ll be rewarded with a relaxed and happy working environment, where our teams take ownership over their own workload and are able to grow and develop as individuals, as well as wider teams.
